Comets Sign Right Winger David Pacan

Utica Comets President Robert Esche announced today that the Comets have signed right winger David Pacan (@pacmanTWOTWO).

Pacan, 22, split the 2012-13 season with the American Hockey League’s San Antonio Rampage and the ECHL’s Cincinnati Cyclones. In nine AHL games, he posted two assists and 11 penalty minutes. The Ottawa, Ontario native finished tied for the Cyclones lead in assists (38) and finished second in points (52). Pacan registered 14 goals in 57 ECHL games on his way to being named to the ECHL’s All-Rookie Team.

The 6’3” 205 lb. right winger was selected by the Chicago Blackhawks in the sixth round (177nd overall) in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
