2015-16: Scored first home goal of his career on Nov. 6 vs Toronto. Registered first career three-point night on Apr. 16 at Syracuse. Earned the team's Ian Anderson Award as the coaching staff's most improved player. Named the team's most valuable player by the Mohawk Valley Media.

Career Notes: Made Comets debut on Oct. 12 in Toronto. Scored first professional goal on Nov. 7 at Lake Erie. Posted 3-9-12 in rookie campaign during the 2014-15 season with the Comets.

Amateur Notes: Played two season at RPI scoring 21-26-47 in 71 games from 2012-2014. Tied the team lead with 12 goals during the 2012-13 season. Tied for second on the team with 17 assists during the 2013-14 season. 

Personal Notes: While growing up in Central NY, Zalewski played three seasons at New Hartford High School and was named the 2009 New York State Player of the Year. He led the Spartans to the 2009 New York Division 2 state hockey championship which was clinched at the Utica Memorial Auditorium.
