2013-14: Zalewski attended the Winnipeg Jets prospect camp in the summer before returning to RPI for his sophomore season. He scored 9 goals with 17 assists and was +1 with 53 penalty minutes in 35 games for the Engineers. RPI finished seventh in ECAC Hockey and lost to Dartmouth in a three-game first round playoff series. The Canucks signed Zalewski to an entry-level contract on March 14th, 2014.
Personal: While growing up in Central NY, Zalewski played three seasons at New Hartford High School and was named the 2009 New York State Player of the Year. He led the Spartans to the 2009 New York Division 2 state hockey championship which was clinched at the Utica Memorial Auditorium.
