COMETS SIGN DEFENSEMAN DYLAN BLUJUS TO PTO

Utica, NY – Utica Comets General Manager Ryan Johnson announced today that the club has signed defenseman Dylan Blujus to a professional tryout contract.

Blujus, 23, has skated in 21 ECHL games this season with the Jacksonville Icemen registering seven points (1-6-7) and 20 penalty minutes. The Buffalo, New York native dressed in 23 games last season with the Syracuse Crunch collecting eight points (1-7-8) and 16 penalty minutes. The defenseman has totaled 151 AHL games played with the Syracuse Crunch amassing 49 points (11-38-49) and 67 penalty minutes.

Blujus was selected by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the second round, 40th overall, at the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
