COMETS ANNOUNCE 2018-19 PROMOTIONAL SCHEDULE

Aug 24, 2018

The Comets are proud to announce their promotional schedule for the 2018-19 season.

September 26 – Season Ticket Member Kickoff Party

To kick off their sixth season, the Comets welcome fans to the Adirondack Bank Center to meet the team and enjoy other amenities at the arena. The evening will include a free skate on the ice, player introductions, Q&A sessions, and an opportunity to shop the Team Store before the general public. More details about the event will become available in the coming weeks.

October 6 – Galaxy Fan Fest

Prior to the Comets second game of the season, Galaxy will host their annual Fan Fest in the plaza outside the Adirondack Bank Center. The afternoon will be filled with live music food & drinks (both on the plaza and at 72 Tavern), games and street hockey for kids, appearances by the Utica City FC players, and a red carpet entrance by your 2018-19 Utica Comets players.

November 16 – Hockey Fights Cancer Night

In conjunction with the NHL, this is the first year that AHL teams are hosting their own Hockey Fights Cancer evening. An initiative that has been going on for years in the NHL, Hockey Fights Cancer raises awareness and funds for those battling cancer across the globe.

December 14 – Bomber Hat Giveaway, presented by Adirondack Bank

The weather outside might be changing…but you’re in luck! Adirondack Bank is helping fans keep warm this winter with a fur bomber hat giveaway on December 14.

December 22 – Ugly Sweater Bar Crawl

Everyone’s favorite giveaways – bobbleheads – are back! This season, the Comets are providing fans with a very special giveaway – FOUR connecting bobbleheads on a base in the shape of the Comets U logo. January 11 will be the first of four nights where fans can piece together what is sure to be one of the Comets best giveaways to date! The first bobblehead is courtesy of Pepsi.

January 16-19 – Save of the Day Week

Due to its success the past two years, Save of the Day Night is taking over a whole week! Spanning three games in January, Save of the Day Week is going bigger than ever this season. More details about the special week will be released later this year.
