Sellout streak hits 77 games dating back to April 10, 2015

Utica, NY - The Utica Comets continue the growing streak of sellout games into this weekend. This brings the running total to 77 games as of the January 28 game versus the Syracuse Crunch. In addition, the Comets have sold out 62 consecutive regular season games. The current AHL record for consecutive regular season home sellouts is held by the St. John’s IceCaps with 120 games from October 10, 2011 – October 26, 2014.

A total of 154,400 fans walked through the doors of The AUD to attend a Comets game during the 2016-17 season. Prior to that, the Comets skated to a sold out crowd in 40 out of a possible 51 times en route to the Calder Cup Finals during the 2014-15 American Hockey League season.
