COMETS SIGN FORWARD BRIAN WARD TO PTO
Nov 22, 2017Utica, NY – Utica Comets General Manager Ryan Johnson announced today that the club has signed forward Brian Ward to a professional tryout contract.
Ward, 25, has dressed in 17 games with the Adirondack Thunder this season posting nine points (5-6-11) and 23 penalty minutes. Last season, the forward skated in 49 games with the Thunder recording 49 points (27-22-49) and 65 penalty minutes. His 27 goals led the team. The Haverhill, Massachusetts native has played in nine total AHL games, including eight last season with the Albany Devils where he collected one assist.
