COMETS SIGN FORWARDS VINCENT ARSENEAU AND TANNER MACMASTER

Utica, NY – Utica Comets General Manager Ryan Johnson announced today that the club has signed forward Vincent Arseneau to a professional tryout contract and forward Tanner MacMaster to an amateur tryout contract. 

Arseneau, 25, has skated in eight games with the Comets this season registering two points (1-1-2) and 15 penalty minutes. The forward also played in 38 ECHL games this season with the Allen Americans tallying 32 points (18-14-32) and 92 penalty minutes. The Magdalen Islands, Quebec native is tied for the team lead with 18 goals.

MacMaster, 22, completed his four-year colligate career at Quinnipiac University posting 33 points (13-20-33) and a team-high 59 penalty minutes in 38 games. The Calgary, Alberta native amassed 84 points (30-54-84) and 195 penalty minutes in 150 career ECAC games. The forward helped the Bobcats claim the ECAC Championship in 2015-16.
