HERB PHILLIPSON'S PARTNERS WITH COMETS AS EXCLUSIVE RETAILER AMID GRAND REOPENING

Utica, N.Y. - Utica Comets President Robert Esche announced today that Herb Phillipson’s will now be the exclusive offsite retailer of Utica Comets apparel and merchandise at their locations in New Hartford, Rome, Herkimer, and Oneida. The announcement comes in conjunction with the grand reopening of their New Hartford and Rome locations, which have both been remodeled and renovated to offer the patrons the best in great outdoors apparel and retail. Herb’s will also be an exclusive offsite retailer of Utica City FC, the new Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) franchise to begin play this December at the Adirondack Bank Center.

The partnership between Herb Phillipson’s and the Comets was made possible earlier this year, when Guy Viti, an employee of Herb’s for over 35 years, purchased the entire company from Gary Phillipson after his retirement. Viti and the rest of the Herb Phillipson’s team have worked tirelessly with Esche and Comets staff members to offer fans an offsite and spacious retailer for all of their gameday needs, including jerseys, apparel, accessories, and more. As the President and CEO, Viti looks forward to a new generation of Herb Phillipson’s while simultaneously carrying on the legacy that Gary devoted his life to building.
