ARCHIBALD RETURNS TO UTICA
Jul 11, 2017Utica NY, - Utica Comets Director of Hockey Operations Pat Conacher announced today that the club has signed forward Darren Archibald to an American Hockey League contract for the 2017-18 season.
Archibald, 27, has spent the previous four seasons with the Comets and collected a total of 112 points (57-55-112) and 363 penalty minutes in 256 games.
Last season, the Newmarket, Ontario native tallied the most goals in a Comets single season with 23. Archibald was the lone Comet to play in every game and led the team with five game winning goals, three of which were registered in overtime. In addition, he tallied a career-highs with six power play goals, 24 assists and 47 points.
