CANUCKS ACQUIRE LOUIS DOMINGUE IN EXCHANGE FOR ZANE MCINTYRE

Utica, NY – Vancouver Canucks General Manager Jim Benning announced today that the club has acquire goaltender Louis Domingue from the New Jersey Devils in exchange for Zane McIntyre.

 

Domingue, 27, has most recently appeared in seven games with the Binghamton Devils, going 4-2-1 with a 2.45 goals-against average and .912 save percentage and one shutout. He has also suited up in four games with the Syracuse Crunch and 16 games with the New Jersey Devils.

 

The St. Hyacinthe, Que. native has played in 138 career NHL games, holding a record of 58-57-10 with a 3.04 goals-against average and a .904 save percentage. He is also 46-38-5 with a 2.89 goals-against average and a .904 save percentage in 100 career AHL games.

 

The 6’3’’, 209-pound goaltender was originally drafted in the fifth round, 138th overall in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
