CANUCKS REASSIGN SAUTNER; COMETS SIGN JUSTIN TAYLOR TO PTO

Utica, NY – Vancouver Canucks General Manager Jim Benning announced today that the club has reassigned defenseman Ashton Sautner to the Comets. Additionally, Comets General Manager Ryan Johnson announced that the team has signed forward Justin Taylor to a PTO.

 

Sautner appeared in one game with the Canucks during his call-up. He has also played in four games with the Comets this year, registering one assist.

 

Taylor, 30, has six points (3-3-6) in six games with the Kalamazoo Wings this season. Taylor also played in two games with the Comets during the 2017-18 season on a PTO where he scored his first AHL goal. The Mindemoya, Ont. native has suited up in 18 career AHL games and 537 career ECHL, tallying 389 points (206-183-389).
