COMETS ACQUIRE STEFAN LEBLANC FROM TORONTO

Utica, N.Y. – Utica Comets General Manager Ryan Johnson announced today that the club has acquired defenseman Stefan Leblanc from the Toronto Marlies in exchange for forward Tanner MacMaster.

 

Leblanc, 22, appeared in 17 games with the Marlies this season, tallying seven points. He also suited up in 26 games with the Newfoundland Growlers of the ECHL, collecting 15 points (3-12-15).

 

The Oakville, Ont. native has played in 99 career professional games, netting 32 points (5-27-32).

 

MacMaster spent the entirety of his short professional career with the Comets, posting 18 points (4-14-18) in 42 games.
