CANUCKS RECALL ALEXANDRE GRENIER AND EVAN MCENENY

Utica, NY - Vancouver Canucks General Manager Jim Benning announced today that the club has recalled forward Alexandre Grenier and defenseman Evan McEneny from the Utica Comets.

Grenier, 25, has appeared in 51 games for Utica this season where he currently leads the team in points (38) and assists (23) and ranks second in goals (15). In 2015-16, the 6-5, 213-pound forward appeared in six games for Vancouver in his debut NHL season. A native of Laval, Quebec, Grenier was originally selected by Vancouver in the third round, 90th overall, at the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.

McEneny, 22, has appeared in 43 games with Utica this season where he currently ranks second among defensemen in goals (6) and third in both assists (11) and points (17). The 6-2, 223-pound native of Hamilton, Ontario, was signed as a free agent on September 13, 2012.
