Comets Extend Partnership with Galaxy Media Partners

Oct 24, 2025

Utica, NY – The Utica Comets announced today that they have renewed their partnership with Galaxy Media Partners and will air every game on one of the region’s flagship stations, 94.9 KROCK, for the rest of the season.

Galaxy is in its 35th year of serving the Mohawk Valley, and this represents the extension of what has been a long and mutually beneficial partnership with the Comets.

With 68 regular season games remaining, the Comets are excited to be back on KROCK and for the opportunity to provide great coverage to the best fans in the American Hockey League. To listen to the game, tune in to 94.9 FM or visit krock.com.

The Comets have two games on the schedule this weekend, the first of which will be tonight at 7 pm in Syracuse when they take on the Crunch who are off to a 4-1 start, their best since the 1996-97 season. Seamus Casey was assigned to Utica by New Jersey on Wednesday and practiced with the team yesterday. The highly touted 21-year-old defenseman appeared in 30 games with the Comets last season while recording three goals and 15 assists. He also notched four goals and four assists in eight games with the Devils last year.

The Comets will be back home tomorrow to host the Laval Rocket at 6 pm for the organization’s first ever Frights & Flights Night. Doors open at 4 pm. Kids can trick-or-treat their way through the inner concourse, get pictures with Naudie, and experience a prelude to Halloween in a safe and controlled environment, while adults can enjoy free beer and wine sampling all night long on the outer concourse with 13 vendors to choose from. Tickets are still available. Please visit uticacomets.com/tickets or call 315-790-9070.
