Kyle Martino

Photographer and Social Media Coordinator, IT Manager

Born and raised in Utica, NY, Kyle was practically raised at the Utica Memorial Auditorium. Playing hockey from the age of four, he started and ended his hockey career in the AUD. Most recently playing for the Utica Jr Comets, Premier and NCDC team in the USPHL (2023). In his closing years, Kyle traded his skates for a camera and began his own freelance sports photography business in the Upstate NY area. Kyle spent his last 5 years honing his photography skills and building his portfolio with sights set on a professional gig with his hometown team.

Kyle was added to the Comets team early 2025 and works to capture every aspect of the Comets season, as well as coordinating social media content for the team. In whatever free time he gets Kyle is at the gym, the golf course, or skating among other Comets staff for the coveted “Team White”.
